an interview with my daughter on food in minecraft
Amazing. God bless her what a sweetheart
Loved this so much!
aw thank you, steph!
This is so lovely! I’m going to have my son (10) read it too, he’s wanting to play Minecraft
oh amazing! let me know how he finds the game, it’s definitely more peaceful than i thought it would be haha
This is so great — i also (occasionally) play minecraft and she did an excellent job of describing how food works in the game!!
thanks, michael! she only started playing in july so i was pretty blown away at her grasp!
wow, only since July!? i feel like it took me 5+ years to figure out those recipes (but also, i’m also old)!!
hahah she’s also of the iPad as school generation, so likely some neuro advantage to learning new tech who knows 😂
I love this :)
thanks, nicholas! it was a lot of fun to do :)
My 10-year old son is also really into Minecraft and is suddenly really into cooking and I’m pretty sure that it had a lot to do with it.
yeah that makes sense to me! it’s cool that it transfers to an interest in the process rather than end product
